The ARM strongly prefers systematic reviews of the literature. The Editorial Board welcomes state-of-the-art review articles. This form of publication represents original research articles reporting the results of basic and clinical investigations that are sufficiently well documented to be acceptable to critical readers. Manuscripts include original articles, review articles, brief reports, case reports, images in this issue, and letters to the editor. There are no fees payable to submit in this journal. The manuscript guidelines for ARM are based on the “Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly work in Medical Journals” published by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (), and instructions which are not mentioned in the present guidelines are referred to the guidelines stated in the Recommendations. This is identical to the Creative Commons (Attribution-Noncommercial) license available at. This requirement applies to text, illustrations, and tables. It is the responsibility of the author to request permission from the publisher for any material that is being reproduced. A letter of permission is required for any and all material that has been published previously. Authors of accepted papers must complete the Copyright Transfer Form. The Korean Academy of Rehabilitation Medicine is the owner of all copyright to papers published in ARM, and has the right to publish, reproduce, distribute, and print the contents in other types of media.
